SPG hunts for Sonia’s mobile-Breaking news in India

New Delhi: The Special Protection Group is leaving no stones unturned to track Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s personal mobile phone, which was stolen about two days ago.

Sources told E Newspaper of India that Sonia’s mobile has been missing since she had complained of chest pain and uneasiness during the discussion on Food Security Bill in the Lok Sabha on Monday.
The Congress president was immediately rushed to All India Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment and was discharged a few hours later. It is learnt that Sonia, who was busy with activities in the House and was suffering from moderate fever, did not notice her phone.
According to reports, after her illness in Parliament, she was also taken to room No 14 of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs for brief stay. Sources said that the SPG is trying its best to trace the Blackberry phone as it is supposed to have sensitive information concerning the Congress party and the central government. The phone is also expected to have important messages, mails, BBMs and contact numbers which can be misused.

Even though it is certain that the mobile phone is stolen as it is currently switched off, what needs to be known is where the Congress president left it. Was it in the AIIMS where she was accompanied by son Rahul Gandhi and Union minister Kumari Selja? Or did she lose it while exiting the Parliament complex? Or did somebody steal it.
