Jodhpur: Controversial spiritual guru Asaram Bapu’s close aide Shiva on Tuesday revealed that the self-styled godman prefers to meet women in private and doesn’t keep good looking men around him.
During an interrogation session, Shiva admitted that Asaram had inhibitions about having good looking men around him as they attract women.
Shiva, who was recently held by the Jodhpur Police, said that he had called the victim on behest of Asaram Bapu.
On Tuesday, Asaram’s lawyer claimed that the victim’s date of birth was not mentioned in her certificate and that she is a major. If the court considers this point, some sections leveled against Asaram may be dropped by the police.
Meanwhile, a Jodhpur court reserved its decision on the godman’s bail plea till Wednesday afternoon.
